Maze and Labyrinth News - March 2026

I am back again with all the things I found during the month that didn’t quite fit into it’s own blog post, but that I found interesting about mazes and labyrinths. The news archive for past months is at the bottom of the post.

  • A hedge maze of Ireland in Ireland

Someone seems to have made a hedge maze in the shape of Ireland, using the counties as the internal walls in Tullow, Ireland. I found this article that shows the drone view. What the article does not do is tell exactly where it is and who created it. I did not give up, and I found it on Google Maps. It seems to be outside a Rathwood Furniture store that has been around since 1994. Here is a website to plan your trip.

  • A labyrinth painting on a wall in Malton, UK

If you walk down St Leonard's Lane in Malton you will find some new artwork, a labyrinth painted on the wall. It is near Yorkshire Tea Rooms and was created by a Methodist minister named Peter Clark. Read all about it and see the labyrinth in this article.

  • Ship vs. Maze game launches April 2nd !

This is my kind of arcade style game. Only 2 controls, left and right. Here is the announcement post that tells you about the game and here is the games official Steam page if you are interested in playing it when it releases.

  • A New Maze Generator to check out

This comes from a reddit post by abdullahmnsr in the maze group where he mentioned he made a free maze generator. You can check it out here: https://puzzlemazestudio.netlify.app/. It includes a maze generator that can make a maze of up to 1000x1000. The Pattern Maze Generator has 35 different patterns to choose from in a variety of sizes. An Image Maze Generator. Shape Mazes, Typographic Mazes. Room Mazes and Isometric Mazes. There is a lot to explore ! I love this isometric maze example (although it has no start and goal - new sites have things to work out).

  • Another new maze game coming to Steam.

The upcoming game Warrens of Random features 20 mazes to solve. Here is the official game page on Steam where we can monitor the launch date. There is also a downloadable demo to check out if this trailer makes you interested:
