I Changed the Price of my Kindle Maze Book

If you have a maze lover in your life I suggest checking out my Arrow Maze Book available on Kindle. It is one of the few maze books that comes in the Kindle format. That is because arrow mazes are solved using your eyes/finger rather than a writing utensil. This version is also different than the printed version in terms of the pagination for the maze solutions. The Kindle version is Puzzle #1, Solution #1, Puzzle #2, Solution #2, etc. while the printed is 100 puzzles, then 100 solutions condensed onto answer pages. The Kindle version solutions are also all full sized !

I will be launching new books shortly (from the end of July and throughout August - you’ll see them pop of for pre-order soon), and thought this would be a good time to adjust the price down, from $4.95 to $2.99 a 39.6% discount. Wouldn’t it be nice if everything we bought went down in price almost 40% ! This is the lowest price Amazon allows me to price the book at based on the size of the file. (Other editions in other languages are also being adjusted down similarly).

Here is the cover of the book. Let’s check out some maze examples below. Note that this book does have a free sample download available to try before you buy ! That button is located right below “Buy for Others”.

Maze Comic Book Cover #82 - Knight Fever

Issue #82 in my comic book cover series is called Knight Fever and features the maze of a knight in his armor. I went with a simple background to match the simple kids level maze.

My comic book cover mazes can be found in 2 places:

Comic Book Cover Mazes - Year 1 (Issues #1-53)

Maze of the Week #186 - Avalon Boardwalk Maze - Catalina Island

Another maze I made for someone. This maze of the Avalon Boardwalk on Catalina Island in California was fun to make. It becomes Maze of the Week #186. The landscape breaks into 3 sections: The water, the boardwalk and the hills. For the water I used wavy walls to simulate waves, while the high palm trees in the center of the picture created barriers I need to work around when creating the maze. The buildings were difficult from a maze perspective. As a solver the water and the hills are where the main maze portions live. The style is different than I normally make.

I did the maze in black and white, but then added color to see how it would come out. Either works. The color version does not meaningfully improve the maze. I think you might be able to do better by using the black and white version as a coloring page. I did make some minor changes to it to widen some pathways that may be helpful. Here are both versions:

Downloads of the color version are available on the homepage.

The Old Guard 2 (2025) Movie Review

The Old Guard 2 (2025) (IMDB)

The Old Guard 2 movie poster

I read comics just about every day. If you are a fan of comics you may have read The Old Guard graphic novel series by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez. I recommend it. When I saw it was to become a movie on Netflix I was excited. Charlize Theron ! Yes please. And the first movie was fine. I wished it was better but it was worth a watch. I was hoping for a sequel that was even better because I knew the story was good from previously reading it.

Sadly, this movie is flat and feels unfinished. The story was not fulfilling and it felt a bit boring. I would skip it. But, I am writing a review of the movie because in the opening scene the group splits up as they are raiding an estate and one half of the group takes “the maze” portion of the job. They take out gunman in a hedge maze. I’m going to be honest, they say maze but they never show it from afar and it seems more like a garden than a maze so the movie didn’t even get this right.
