Introducing 4 new free printable maze sections to the website

I recently launched 8 new sections of the website aimed at kids, which included many new books (203 new mazes and 7 new books). All of them sit in the Free Printable Maze section of the website. Here is a review of those sections if you missed it:

Today I announce the launch of 4 new sections of mazes. 3 sections that are for adults and harder than the previous content. And I also finally got around to making the circle maze section of the site for beginners. You can find the example gallery below with one maze of each type. The On Line Maze section is also gathered into a book which will be labeled as Volume 2 (Volume 1 is the Kids version).

I hope you enjoy the new mazes. There are more to come !

Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone (1983) Movie Review

Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone (1983) (IMDB)

Spacehunter Adventures in the Forbidden Zone movie poster

When I sat down to watch this movie, one that I had no idea about until I did a deep search on IMDB, I had low expectations. The initial titles told me this was going to be rough, but seeing a dystopian space movie with Molly Ringwald in her prime pulled me in. After a crash landing on a planet full of mutants, 2 bounty hunters (including Molly) chase the $ to attempt a rescue of 3 captives. The movie has a Mad Max feel and is better than many Star Wars inspired movies from this time. In fact, this movie was released 1 week before Return of the Jedi. During the last third of the movie, Molly is captured by the mutants, but if she can traverse a maze without dying she is promised her release. The maze is a Mad Max style obstacle course like a horror Wipeout. Molly plays her typical moody, complaining character.

I give it a 5.4/10.

Maze Comic Book Cover #80 - SPELL CHECK

Issue #80 in my comic book cover series is called SPELL CHECK and features the maze of a wizard. The background was made using starryai. I tried to make the wizard ambiguous from a side standpoint. He might be good or evil. Maybe the story arch takes him from one to the other. This begins a 3 issue medieval arch of characters.

My comic book cover mazes can be found in 2 places:

Comic Book Cover Mazes - Year 1 (Issues #1-53)

Comic Book Cover Mazes - Year 2

Maze of the Week #184 - San Antonio Skyline Maze

This maze of the San Antonio Skyline was a requested commission for a book. I liked the way it came out and present to to you today with only minor updates. I changed the size (larger) and switched the font of the title. I also moved the title from under the maze to inside the border so that I could maximize the maze size. I like the black and white look of this maze, and think it works as a coloring page also. The actual maze is not very complicated. The majority of my time drawing this was spent making windows on buildings ! Enjoy Maze of the Week #184.

The maze is available for download on the home page.

What other skylines do you think deserve a maze ?

One of my more popular mazes is a maze of The Alamo Mission in San Antonio !

This maze also reminds me of one of my early mazes done for charity I called “Lost in the City”. Would you believe I made it in Excel !! I’m sure it can be found somewhere on the site…but here it is again ! A different style and a much more difficult maze to solve.
