This Cement Truck Maze is part of the Land, Air, Sea and Space Maze collection and it also doubles as a coloring page. That is 4 straight construction vehicle mazes, but we still have 1 more coming on Friday !

Issue #94 in my comic book cover series is called Mummy Dearest and features a maze of a Mummy. It is part of my mazes themed for Halloween. For more traditional kids Halloween Mazes check out this section of the site.

And here is the second construction vehicle maze (last week featured a front loader). Introducing Maze of the Week #198 of a Bulldozer Maze. I made the maze with some shadows and gave the bulldozer a pile of dirt to work with. I used a standard maze construction.

The Corn Maze of the Year winner was announced by USAToday
Congratulations to the Treworgy Family Orchards Corn Maze which was voted the corn maze of the year for the 4th straight year ! This years version was in the shape of a whale. You can see all of their yearly mazes and plan a trip on their farm website. Located in Levant, Maine, the farm is 9 miles from Bango Airport. To read my original post on the 20 nominees for the award: Vote for the top corn mazes in the country !
I found a new maze themed movie poster
If you haven’t seen my blog posts on the best movie posters, I have written 2 posts. Always love to see labyrinth and mazes represented well. Active Measures is a documentary with a circular maze theme:

Which is not quite a movie poster, but you can find a version similar to this banner I found when I signed up for HBOMAX. Heretic is a recommended horror movie if you are wondering, with Hugh Grant excellent as a weirdo.
Travis and Taylor have an engagement themed corn maze in Missouri
I want to give a shout-out to Precision Mazes for capturing the making of this corn maze from above. We need more of these videos ! You can plan your trip to visit the maze at Johnson Farms Plants & Pumpkins in Belton, MO.
Clark's Elioak Farm in Maryland
I came across an article about this farm and luckily I clicked on it. They have an “Enchanted Forest Pine Tree Maze” they built in 2009 which was adjusted in 2013 to be “The Enchanted Pine Tree Forest”. So no more maze. Why is it here ? Well it’s one of those interesting roadside attractions that needs to be shared. You can find a short video below, but there are many walking tours online if you want a longer version. Plan a visit on their website, and here is the labyrinth page on the church website that features the labyrinth if you want to plan a visit.
A Labrinth in Manitowoc, WI was restored !
I have written about labyrinths to visit in every state of the US. I love to hear when they are restored and put back into regular use like this one at Lakeshore United Methodist Church in Manitowoc, WI ! While this one did not make my list of 8 Labyrinths to visit in Wisconsin, but there are over 100 in the state to choose from ! Here is a video on the labyrinth.
Ohio Tourism made a corn maze map !
I don’t know about you, but I think more places should do this ! Here is a link to the Tourism Ohio site where you can find the media release and a drawn kids maze, and here is the tourism page with the information and downloadable link where you can find the 46 corn maze strong map. Great idea to help support local farms !

This is an old one (from 2016), but I had never seen it before and I wanted to share it here for all you Trekkies ! This corn maze features Spock and Captain Kirk.
If you are like me, you are excited for Part 2 of the movie Wicked. If you are near Gambrills, Maryland, the MD Corn Maze features a Wicked theme this year. Located at 389 Gambrills Rd, Gambrills, MD 21054 it is open until November 2nd !
The best laid plans - A personal story
I had a chance to visit some friends for a quick weekend trip in the city I lived in for the majority of my adult life - NYC. I planned to visit the labyrinth in Battery Park and write about it here. But because of construction and incorrect Google Maps hours I was unable to access it. I arrived too early and could not make it back later in the day without missing my flight. So you get a gallery of my almost visit instead. I also got to attend some kids sporting events during my time with friends and some of my mazes were taken to entertain the kids not playing. It seems they were a hit (people love to see mazes of their names) and I inspired my friends son (Will) to build his own maze ! Very cool. I also found a heart maze toy when I was there.
