How to Train Your Dragon (2025) Movie Review

How to Train Your Dragon 2025 movie poster

I had originally reviewed the 2010 version of this movie and thought it was excellent (I gave it an 8.5/10). When I saw the new live action version was coming out I wondered if it would have the maze scene included again. Non-spoiler: I am writing a review of the movie here so I can confirm that it does have the maze scene again !

As far as the movie it is the same story you remember and it holds up well in the new format (unlike a certain company doing classic remakes that have not been holding up). The flying scenes feel very Avatar like and the CGI is excellent. I see why this was made for IMAX. Overall this remains a very solid movie I would recommend for all ages. My one complaint is that the original was 98 minutes and this clocks in at almost 2 hours ( officially 125 minutes but the end is full of extensive credits), fine for adults but kids might struggle with the extra time.

Maze of the Week #195 - Tractor Maze

I have a section of the website where I feature some early mazes I made of animals, many of them from the farm (chicken, cow, pig, rooster, etc.). I also have made many of the animals in comic book style if you want to check those out. Today I make a maze for all of those farmers out there: Maze of the Week #195 - a Tractor Maze. As far as the type of tractor, it is one of the old fashioned red ones…I don’t know enough to give more detail.

For the maze I went with color so we could see the traditional red and I used textures and shadows to improve the illustration. I gridded the tractor to give it more places for the maze pathways to go.

Free Maze download is available in the Vehicle Maze section of the site. This maze also reminded me of an old maze from 2019 that may no longer be on the site of a red barn. Here it is as a bonus:
