The Wrong Paris (2025) IMDB
Sometimes when I watch movies I need a palate cleanser. This was that movie for me. I had been watching about 40 Bollywood movies in a row and I was tired of reading subtitles during 2.5 hour movies. I was playing this movie on a second screen as I did some maze work, when suddenly I see a maze on the screen !
The movie is a typical Hallmark type romantic comedy where nothing in the plot is a surprise. This particular one is about a girl who needs money to study in Paris so she goes on a dating reality tv show like the Bachelor to get the appearance fee. She meets a cowboy, blah blah blah, love happens. Well, along the way, like any good reality tv show there is a competition that involves a maze made of stacked hay bales as part of an obstacle course. It was a fun surprise. Plot-wise we get a typical dating show as women get eliminated as the fight for the affections of the cowboy bachelor.
This is exactly what you think it is. I give it a 5.8/10. You know if you like this type of movie.
