It is Italy maze month on the site and our second maze is Maze of the Week #219 featuring The Leaning Tower of Pisa. I did not have the opportunity to visit this tower during my trips to Italy, but I did visit the leaning tower in Bologna, the Garisenda Tower, which is not so famous but is currently having work done so it does not collapse. But, in Pisa we have our famous tower which currently has a tilt of about 4 degrees. Building a tower on marshy land is a bad idea. Measuring 57 meters tall, the tower was completed in 1372. At some point this tower will topple.
