leeds castle maze
Located in Kent, England the location has been home to a castle since 857. It has housed Kings and Queens at times throughout it’s history. You can read about it on it’s wikipedia page or plan a trip/event at the castle ! When I was looking for a castle to make a maze of one of the things that made this interesting was that it has a large yew tree maze on the grounds designed by Adrian Fisher !

This maze was revised a few times. Here is a blog post about the changes made to the most updated version of the maze: Maze of the Week 64 Redux - Leeds Castle (MOTW#173). You can compare the 2 mazes and try to figure out what changes were made if you want.
The most updated maze version: (and my preferred maze)
The Initial Maze: Large (I formatted it to 11x17), full color. Random story - I was going to make a typical blue sky like many other outdoor building mazes, but most of the pictures I found were of cloudy and overcast days, so leaving the sky white seemed appropriate.
