bok gardens tower maze

Bok Gardens in Lake Wales, Florida has a long and interesting history and you can learn all about the gardens and plan a visit by visiting their website. It will not surprise you that the founder of the gardens was man named Edward Bok, a Pulitzer prize-winning author. He is buried at the base of the tower featured in the maze. Located at 1151 Tower Blvd, Lake Wales, FL 33853, roughly halfway between Tampa and Orlando.

While I call it the Bok Gardens Tower, it is actually more formally known as The Singing Tower. That is because the tower is actually a musical instrument called a Carillon ! So, the top portion of the tower is full of bronze bells that can be played from a keyboard on a lower floor. Check out the diagram of this on the towers webpage.

The Maze: This is one of the more challenging mazes of the week. I think you will enjoy solving it ! The variety of stone colors of the building mean I went with a simple black and white maze. I used the stones to create a grid pattern to put the maze into.
