US Southernmost Point Buoy Maze
Located in Key West, Florida this colorful buoy is a photo stop for anyone visiting the islands. If you want to learn more about the point, check out the Wikipedia entry about it. And if you ever wondered what the southernmost point was in the continental US, this is the spot.

I made 2 versions of this maze. Let’s start with the original version.
The maze: I focused on the buoy and not the surroundings. Because there are portions of the buoy that are painted black I went with walls that are grey because they work best against all the base colors. I had to use black lines internally so you could see the delineation between the colorful rings.
I updated this maze as you can read about here: Maze of the Week Re-Dux #36 - Key West Buoy Maze (MOTW #182). This is my preferred version. I basically added the foreground and background to give the maze some context and zoomed in to make the maze larger on the page (and easier to navigate).
