Visiting another Labyrinth in Cleveland, Ohio

I live in Cleveland, Ohio and I I finally had a chance to visit a labyrinth that has been on my to do list for awhile, the Schneider Healing Garden Labyrinth located at University Hospital. I had previously visited the labyrinth at the St. Wendelin Parish in Tremont, and I really enjoyed it.

Schneider Healing Garden Labyrinth

Location:

11206 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106

How to get there: The labyrinth is located on Euclid Avenue so the Healthline bus is the most popular choice for public transportation. Directions from the city will have you get off at the Adelbert Road stop (Stop ID: 12565) and walk 3 blocks to the hospital. The 9 bus also uses that stop.

The Garden is walled off on the corner of Euclid and University Hospital Drive to give it some privacy and reduce street noise. Here is what you see as you approach, an obvious garden behind a wall:

Make down University Hospital Drive and take a left into the drop off area of the Seidman Cancer Center Building. The entrance looks like this on the back left:

We get some interesting quotes on the pathway and some nice sculptures surrounding the labyrinth. I left took pictures of a few and left others for you to discover on your own. There are benches on the outside of the labyrinth. The garden flora is nice and the setting is peaceful. There are chairs and tables set-up in the corner that I am sure are full during lunch hours.

This is one of my favorite parts of town in Cleveland. Plenty of great things to do, and you can see 2 places I made mazes of Severance Hall, and the Peter B Lewis Building. And of course, visit the Cleveland Museum of Art.

If you are ever in Asia here are some other mazes and labyrinths I visited:

Vehicle Maze - Ice Cream Truck Maze

I hope you enjoy this kids Ice Cream Truck Maze. It is part of the Land, Air, Sea and Space Maze collection. I will launch a new maze in the collection each Monday (the maze of the week) and Wednesday (a bonus maze) until the end of the year. I thought this maze would pair well with Monday’s School Bus maze.

When I see this particular maze I can hear the music running through my head and I get hungry for a treat. A French vanilla cone sounds good right about now.

This maze reminds me of one of the oldest mazes from the site of a food truck.

Maze Comic Book Cover #86 - Beast Mode

Issue #86 in my comic book cover series is called Beast Mode and features the maze of a beast warrior. I think this is my first comic where the background is a clean bright white. This is not a thing you would want to get into a fight with.

My comic book cover mazes can be found in 2 places:

Comic Book Cover Mazes - Year 1 (Issues #1-53)

Comic Book Cover Mazes - Year 2

Beast Warrior Maze Comic Book

To receive a book of my first year of comic book book mazes (Volume 1 with mazes #1-53) you can sign up for my book alerts - any time I launch a free maze book, or paid book (on Amazon), I will send you a note about the new book launch.

Maze of the Week #190 - School Bus Maze

For the rest of the year, if you like mazes of vehicles of all types, you will love the weekly mazes. Each will be a vehicle from the land, earth, sea or space and targeted for kids, so not very difficult. But, I wanted to make kids mazes with nice illustrations. Just because a maze is for kids doesn’t mean the picture needs to be cartoony. I hope you enjoy this collection. We start with Maze of the Week #190 featuring a traditional yellow American School Bus Maze.

I went with a color version to highlight the traditional color and a small shadow on the ground so the bus doesn’t float on the page. A kids maze.
