I have been wanting to make a maze of a train for along time. I never quite came up with a picture or illustration that worked quite the way I wanted. Finally, for this project I found a few different versions to make, starting with this Locomotive Maze, Maze of the Week #191. I still have a dream of one day making an entire train, with each car a separate type of maze, starting ta the locomotive and ending at the caboose with dozens of interconnected boxcar mazes in between. I imagine a mobile maze (turned on it’s side) because the shape would be so hard to display online.

This locomotive maze uses starryai to create a background emulating the American West. I went with a color version with simple shadows. The maze is for kids. The shape fits the illustration rather than a standard piece of paper. I hope you like it !
