Hercules in the Maze of the Minotaur (1994) Movie Review
The 5th and final movie of the fantasy series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. If you like a movie that starts with seeing the bad guy, you will get to see the minotaur in the first 5 minutes (albeit in the shadows). Our hero, Hercules, is living in retirement (from fighting monsters), farming with his family. The core of this story is a clips and flashbacks show based on mini stories told by our characters. Hey, remember time…this reminds me of when…the last time this happened we were in…etc. All of these clips eventually get us to a showdown between Hercules and the Minotaur in a maze. It has 1994 special effects, but really 1994 tv movie special effects and the format makes the story disjointed. If you liked the tv series you will enjoy this but overall it is just ok.
