Issue #103 in my comic book cover series is called Gnome Alone and features a maze of a Gnome. It is a Christmas themed cover. If you want to enjoy more kids Christmas Mazes I have a large section of them.

I saved this vehicle maze for the Winter. Introducing Maze of the Week #207 featuring a Snow Cruiser Maze. Although this vehicle is used year round in the places it is used since there is snow cover at all times. I really like how this came out. It is in color despite being a white maze. How much fun would this thing be to drive ! I like the snow in this maze made using texture.

I wanted to feature 5 wonderful Winter mazes that are here or coming soon for the holidays ! All 5 of these mazes are the largest of it’s type (one with an asterisk), and are made as destination attractions to celebrate the holidays. It includes mazes from events in LA/Las Vegas, a festival in Minnesota, a festival in the state of Washington, a snow maze in Canada, while the last takes us overseas to Poland.
The Largest Christmas Light Maze(s)
The first mazes are the Largest Christmas Light Maze(s) in the world, created by Enchant. This year Enchant has 2 locations: Los Angeles, CA and Las Vegas, NV. (2024 included: San Jose, CA; Seattle, WA; and Las Vegas, NV). Each location features winter fun, including the featured light maze, an ice skating rink and a Christmas market along with other activities (Santa maybe?) and days with special events. You can check the calendar and buy tickets on the Enchant website. This experience moves around the country each year, so you may have seen it near you in the past (or have it coming to a large city near you in the future). Here is a video from YouTube showing the event in 2025 in LA ! It looks like a fun night out with an immersive Christmas experience.
World’s Largest Ice Maze (previously)
The second Winter maze I wanted to bring to your attention comes from Poland, previously it was the World’s Largest Ice Maze and it’s located in Snowlandia in Zakopane. I had written about it before as one of the 6 interesting ice and snow mazes I found around the world: You Won't Believe these Ice and Snow Mazes ! The maze is outstanding, and seeing all of the intricate carvings in the snow is also well worth a visit with views of the beautiful surrounding Tatra Mountains ! The maze is listed as over 3000 square meters, or the size of about 7 basketball courts. It’s opening and closing dates revolve around the weather. The official website has some wonderful footage of everything with all of them snow carvings being the highlight !
World’s Largest Ice Maze (current)
And you may have noticed the “previously” I added onto the World’s Largest Ice Maze at Snowlandia. That is because on January 10th, 2025 the record was broken at the Minnesota Ice Festival in Eagan, MN. The 2025 festival included the maze, skating, slides, food trucks, ice bars and plenty of ice sculptures. I am on the lookout for information on 2026 ! Here is a video showing the record setting ice maze:
World’s Largest Christmas Tree Maze
But wait, we have another, coming to us from Shelton, Washington ! Let’s take a look at Christmastown and their Winter maze !
The world record for most Christmas Trees in one location (set in 2019) keeps getting bigger each year. And, it just so happens those Christmas trees are made into a maze ! In 2024 a total of 900 trees was made into a large maze. The great thing about the maze is the dead ends might lead you to Santa, places to play or selfie spots. But let’s be honest a dead end with Santa is not really a dead end ! Here is a link to the website and the maze page specifically. Check out this wonderful video of the event and maze !
The World’s Largest Snow Maze
Located in St. Adolphe, Manitoba, (about 10 minutes south of Winnipeg) this all ages Snow Maze makes for a unique family adventure. Measuring in at just under 2800 square meters, the maze takes about 30 minutes to navigate. The walls are 6.5 feet tall and 2 feet thick and some of them feature some very nice carvings (see video below). The maze website showcases some wonderful photos of the snow maze. The site is seasonal (currently closed but opening in January), and has 7 different things to do throughout the year, including a Corn maze (August-October), Petting Zoo (August-October), Pumpkin Barn (October), Haunted Forest (October), Sunflower Expo (August-September), and the Den Restaurant. During snow maze season they also have toboggans & snow tubes available.
I suggest you read the maze policies on the website before visiting, but a general summary is to dress for Winter weather and bring a sleigh for the kids. This video gives great overview of the location and features the carvings I mentioned above.
The original maze record was set in 2019 and featured in a CNN article. Luckily for us, the maze is remade each year !

Cinderella (1994) IMDB
Everyone knows the story of Cinderella and this telling of the classic fairy tale is a short (48 minutes), animated version that manages to fit everything in. Cinderella is one of those stories that has been done dozens of times, maybe more - my quick search on IMDB came up with 25+ movie adaptions through the years. What I never remember from the telling is the hedge maze scene you find in this version. It happens when the clock strikes midnight on Cinderella at the ball. She uses the maze to help escape the prince losing her glass slipper int he maze. Overall this adaption is fine. It looks like 90’s animation and I appreciate that they did not draw it out into a full length movie needlessly.
I give it a 6/10.
