The University of Alaska Museum of the North Maze
The University of Alaska Museum is located in Fairbanks, Alaska at the University of Fairbanks. You can plan a visit on their website. It is a museum of natural history, cultural history, and art history with a focus on Alaska and the far north. The museum is also the home of Bus 142 which you may know from the excellent book and movie Into The Wild. Read more about the museum on Wikipedia. This short video gives you an overview of the museum and also comes from the museum’s official YouTube account.
Here is a photo of the museum from a slightly different angle than my maze. I like the curved shape and how shadows play with that nooks.

So this maze has 3 versions because I like to tinker with my work, which is entirely possible since I use a digital program to draw my mazes.
This maze was originally made in color and greyscale, then re-done with new techniques. Here are the first 2 versions of the maze in a gallery:
The newest version of the maze with the design changes made is discussed in this post Maze of the Week 3 Redux - Museum of the North (MOTW#160). From the time I made the initial mazes until now I learned some new tricks and techniques that I thought would improve the maze. Can you tell what changes I made ? Here is the newest version of the maze. I hope you like and and can see the improvements ! This is my preferred version.
