Temple of Kukulcán at Chichen Itza Maze
5TH PLACE - 2022 MAZE OF THE YEAR FOR THIS SITE
One of the most fascinating pyramids in the entire world, it is worth exploring in depth by watching this documentary to learn about the feathered serpent, the hidden internal structure, and the unique sounds it makes for visitors. Or, you could just read about it on Wikipedia.

The Maze: Once again I went with some extreme detail for this maze, so to solve it you must print it on poster size paper. It was made and formatted for 44x34 because the stones are small.

You can read about the updates I made to the maze here: Maze of the Week 49 Redux - Chich'en itza (MOTW #172). The quick overview is I colored the pyramid and added textures and shadows. This is one of my favorite maze updates.
