Mount Rushmore Maze
Mount Rushmore was carved/built/chiseled between 1927 and 1941 until funding dried up (because of World War 2). Luckily the President’s 4 faces were completed between 1934 and 1939. The memorial, located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, features the faces of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. The Maze: This is a draw and fill construction where I used ridges of the rock face as walls, then filled in additional ridges to create a maze.
