Monte Albán Maze
Located in Oaxaca, Mexico, Monte Albán is a large and impressive archaeological site that I have had the opportunity to visit. It is an amazing site and you can still climb some of the pyramids. Most tours there last 3 hours and it is worth all 180 minutes ! The site sits on a high hill and you can get views of the surroundings that are excellent. This is a great place to take panoramic photos !
The Maze: This is based off of one of the many pictures I took when I was at the site and is from a structure on the North Platform. I finished the maze and then after sitting with it awhile I got inspired and resized the maze, re-colored it, added some background and added shadows. The shadows make this one of my favorite mazes. I hope you enjoy it.
I went back and made minor changes to this maze (again) which you can read about here: Maze of the Week 91 Redux - Monte Alban (MOTW#180) if you are interested in maze design. I removed the original version although you can see it in the above post.
