THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA MAZE
Considered one of the new 7 wonders of the world, the Great Wall of China is an astounding 21K km (or 21K miles) long. The fortification was built and added over the course of 2,000 years, although the original earthen/gravel walls were later replaced. Most of what we recognize as the Great Wall today—the brick, the crenelated tops, and the watchtowers—was built during the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). The detail and history behind the wall is long and worth a read. Wikipedia also has a map showing the wall, which is not one continuous wall, but many walls spread around the northern part of China.
I would take the time to watch all 44 minutes of this National Geographic video that does a great job on the subject:
The Maze: I went back and forth on doing this in black and white, but decided on making it a 3 color where only the lines are colored. I did the start and goals in both Chinese and English.
