Maze Comic Book Cover #71 - NECK

Issue #71 in my comic book cover series is called NECK and features the maze of a Giraffe. The background was made using starryai. This was the perfect time to post this maze since yesterday I re-did my full sized giraffe maze. Each maze has a different style but I like both versions.

My comic book cover mazes can be found in 2 places:

Maze of the Week 77 Redux - Giraffe (MOTW #175)

I originally made this maze when I saw that the pattern of a giraffes coat would make a good maze. It did. I like how my original maze came out. I have also learned since making that maze that giraffe coats are regional ! Not sure where my maze giraffe is from in Africa. Here was my original post.

Maze of the Week #77 - Giraffe Maze

Here are the enhancements I made to improve the maze:

1. New background. I used starryai to create a new background. It is one of my favorite text to image generators (Comparison of 12 AI Generating Websites - Who did Mazes Best ?). I didn’t want to show this animal in a zoo (maybe) but in the wild.

2. New Foreground. I added grass to cover the feet and place the giraffe into the grasslands and into the background picture.

3. Font size changes. I changed font of start from 12 to 16, while also changing start and goal from black to match the brown of the giraffe, with a thin black outline. Then I changed the font of the word goal from 7.5 to 12 and re-arranged letters to fit around the ear.

I admit I have played around with the Goal and changed the color, etc. to make it easier to find but never quite found something that is easy to find but still looks good.

In the end I think this giraffe is happier in it’s natural habitat.

Some data: The new file is 874MB from 893MB. It got smaller ?

I will be replacing the homepage with the new maze going forward. You can find the maze download there !

Star Wars Mazes - Grogu, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and more

The first Star Wars themed maze I made was of Darth Vader, which I created in black and white in 2019 for Star Wars day, and which I recently updated into color (shown below). Recently, I decided to make a few more Star Wars themed mazes for fun and focused on the iconic helmets you often see for characters. I used the Star Wars font for the Start and Goal in each of the mazes. They are a mix of kids mazes and all ages mazes. I hope you enjoy them.

I am not the only person making these mazes. Some of my favorite Star Wars mazes by other artists:

I have a few more Star Wars themed mazes on my to-do list. I hope to have a new one ready for the next Star Wars Day !

Introducing The Largest Laser Maze in the World (probably)

In the past I have made some of the largest mazes in the world (probably). You can find them on the website on using these posts. I suggest you try to solve them. Neither the Arrow Maze nor the Pipe Maze have dead ends, meaning you will get stuck in some loops (but hopefully not for too long.). The Arrow Maze features 5 hints to help you along the way..

Today, I add to this collection with a laser maze. A laser maze uses a laser bouncing off mirrors (or walls) to create a pathway to the goal. There are many possible goals around the maze and you must find which location on the wall is the correct location. The Largest Laser Maze in the World (probably) features 163 possible goals. (29 on top, 30 bottom, and 52 on each side). Normally I letter them, but there are way too many to code. But I do have some good news - I kept the guides I used to make the walls (grey blocks) to help you navigate the maze ! Enjoy ! Like my other Largest mazes, the best way to solve this is to download it !
